Forest of Delusion

Enter the forest of death itself. Made up of the carcasses of all the fallen trees of the world and it's history. Within the trees themselves lie the bodies of the dead, still, their suffering cries and endless lies.... call out to anybody with an ear. Their wandering souls too aimlessly drift upon the forests innards. Any being foolish enough to wander within this forest will most likely fall victim to the hypnotizing gaze the undead send their way, or the crippling touch of their wandering spirits.

However, as bad as that is, it is not the primary threat of this place, nor are the terrifyingly powerful demons that dwell here.... no, the true threat are the Illusions of which most fall victim to. The body of forest is so vast and massive, the cries, the sights.... the mere presence of it all will soon break down your mind to the extent of insanity. Even the most powerful of minds can and will be brought down to nothing, if within this forest for too long. The intensity of it all will not only drive one to the point of insanity, but recklessness. Some will simply off themselves, out of pure fear and intimidation. Others will betray their friends and see them as the enemy, thus offing them... while others will try and destroy everything around them, which only angers the forest and it will not only dismiss your existance, but it will claim the very essence that is your life, your soul. There's no returning to the Lifestream here.

Beyond the forest lies Zamza's temple. The forest was designed to challenge individuals for the right to enter his temple, only if they survive.
