Enter the city of corruption, of twisted intent, of disturbed creatures that shouldn't even exist...Originally planned for construction upon the Promised Land, Neo-Midgar still "promises" many things. Everything within the impenetrable walls is, technology, at it's finest. In the center of Neo-Midgar, lies the new Shin-Ra Headquarters, massively improved to stop anyone who isn't welcome from coming inside, especially with the addition of the "ultimate defense mechanism", as Rufus Shinra himself claims" the "Goddess Ray" able to penetrate any kind of armor, and decimate the target. Unlike the original Midgar, Neo-Midgar minimized it's sectors to a total of 5, mainly to create better security within each center. Most sector includes residential areas and shops. Others include factories, Training grounds, etc.
You may travel from sector to sector by way of train or a vehicle of some kind. There is no way to get to another sector by walking alone...at least, no way the Shin-Ra want you to know about. Within every sector, and on the corner of almost all the streets, patrols are waiting for something, anything, to happen. Sometimes, instead of a human patrol, you'll find advanced cyborgs or hybrid SOLDIERs... At that point, you would be wishing for the petty human. Nothing is known about the Shin-Ra's plans, but the majority of the world's inhabitants know very well that they may have something up their sleeve. Cloud Strife and the rest of AVALANCHE await just that, so that they can, once again, put an end to what Rufus Shinra may have be planning.
