Ok for those who want to try their hand at the altar I'm putting the rules here. Well that and a littel more info about it. So lets start with the extra first.
The ancient forest holds many mysterious held in it. As one of these mysteries the Altar and the temple it resides in are complete unknowns. The place is a source of powerful and strange energy yet can't be found easily. Becuase of it's strange nature and magic there are two things that are important. One is that the look of the temple cahnges from person to person. It does this inorder to adjust itself to the challenge it is presenting. So when describing the temple let your imagination go wild. The second thing is the spirit of the Altar. He must be included as he is the guiding voice. He is only a voice though and he tends to speak in teh next chosen warrior's mind. He will be your character's main reason for coming to the altar. THe Altar itself is a typical looking altar. Once again no definite shape so describe it as you see fit. Though to help out things I'll say this, the temple is a crumbling vine covered building with one entrance that is missing it's doors. THe inside is yours to design as it is your trial.
Now that that is finished time for the boring part.
1. Ok, you guys are allowed to come up ith your own trials in order to gain your reward. However it must be a challenge. THis is a trial of your skills as warriors. The trial can be well matched for your character, but not a walk in the park. You must also send me ,Lezz Ard, your ideas for your challenge in a message for my approval. I may eve be able to help you out with it.
2. your reward will be agreed upon between both me and you. However in one final test your character with be sked to tribute a piece of his/hers equipment to the altar. In return they will receive a replacement that is not only better but a part of them and may give them powers. Once again I state that we will agree upon this reward. Also the reward and tributed item will be similar, if only in class. So you can't take a staff and turn it into a cannon or a sword.
4. You are only allowed one trip to the Altar so make it count. This is to keep things fair. Also if you have already proven yourself once why do it again?
5. One final thing. You can not state or even hint at passint the Altar challenge when you first start out. You must have a thread in the trail in the Altar before you can say you passed it. If I or the other admins see this we will ask you to change it. When you have passed your challenge you may put it back. This is to make things fair. After all people had to work hard for those rewards.
With that said please have fun with this. I will be putting a trial done by Lezz up as an example for what the Altar is about. If you have any questions please contact me.
